Over 1,100 business events professionals from New Zealand, Australia and Asia-Pacific are heading to Rotorua next week for MEETINGS 2024 – the national trade show for the business events sector on 19 and 20 June.

New Zealand's business events sector has united in a collaborative effort to launch Pīata Mai, a national statement of strategic direction outlining a focused vision for the industry over the next decade.

Business Events Industry Aotearoa is launching its 11th annual BE Mentored programme this week, designed to nurture and develop emerging talent in the industry.

Another event joins the Auckland 2021 calendar

International education policy-makers, practitioners and experts from around the world will descend on Auckland in 2021 for the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Annual Conference and Exhibition. The three-day conference and exhibition will be held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) and is expected to attract more than 1,700 delegates and 200 exhibitors, who will stay a total of 8,700 visitor nights and contribute an estimated spend of $3.3 million while they are here.
