Olveston, an authentic historic experience in the heart of Dunedin. Olveston was designed by English architect Sir Ernest George and built for Dunedin businessman, collector and philanthropist David Theomin in 1906. Built as a family home with ample rooms for live-in servants, the Theomin’s extensively furnished their home with fine artworks, furniture and objects of fascination and ancient artefacts from all around the world.
